Version numbers
A version number has three parts, such as 3.2.5. The first two numbers (separated by dots) are the release version, and updating is recommended, especially when the first number changes. The last number, 5, is for urgent fixes or small beta builds. If you have no special need, you can ignore the last number.
Extension update
There are two ways to update the extension, split at version 2.9 (for history see the extension release notes, Chinese only for now). The examples below use 2.9 to show when an update is needed.
This is the latest version with no update available
This is the state when an update is available

Online update
- If your computer already has 2.9 or later installed, click
Update available, then clickOnline updatein the update panel; the extension updates and installs itself, with no need to restart the app.
TIP
If there is no update or the update fails, click the three bars at the top left, find Uninstall extension in the menu, uninstall, and then use the full offline install method.
Offline update
- If your computer has a version below 2.9, uninstall the extension first, then download the full extension pack from the download page and install it.
Note
With this method, be sure to uninstall the extension first so it can still open after the update.
To uninstall, click the three bars at the top left of the extension and choose Uninstall extension.
Video tutorial
The original update walk-through is hosted on a mainland-China site that is not reachable overseas, so it is not embedded here. The video below is the backup video from the Chinese page: a demo of Motion Master for Premiere.
