SFX music generate

  • Category: Generate

What it is

Generates a full track or a short sound effect (usually two takes per run) from a description through the official cloud. Write the prompt, generate, then import onto an audio track. It needs official credentials.

This node grew out of Score & SFX in the Lab: wires in a blueprint replace the step-by-step clicks in the Lab, which makes it easy to reuse and to hand to an agent.

How to connect

Connect the text to "Text / prompt" and the generated audio (usually two takes) to "Import audio". Official cloud credentials must be set up. In the node you can pick Music or SFX: for music, write the mood or lyrics; for SFX, write the sound itself.

Notes

  • Before writing back to the editing app, make sure LmBox is connected to the matching app (DaVinci Resolve / Premiere / After Effects and so on).
  • Official cloud credentials are needed. A run usually produces two takes, so watch for multi-track results when importing.
  • For SFX, write things like footsteps, a door opening or ambience, not a piece of music.

Combine it freely with other nodes. For common scenarios, see the recipes in the Blueprint lab overview.

Agents / MCP

For agents or developers (optional)
  • Once LmBox's open MCP is connected, the full ports and settings can be read from the catalog. This page is written for people, not around machine fields.
  • Node type: sfx-music-generate
  • Setting musicOutputKind: music (full track) or sfx (short sound effect)

Release notes

  • 2.8.0 Can switch between full tracks and short sound effects, on the same path as Score & SFX in the sidebar.
