Collect LmBox media
Footage that LmBox puts into a project usually sits under a bin created by LmBox (its name starts with "LMbox"), sorted by type. Collect LmBox media finds those files that are still on disk and copies them, by their original category, into a folder you choose, which is handy for handing off, backing up or switching machines.
Drag Collect LmBox media into an empty slot, click it once on the floating toolbar, then choose the destination folder.
What it can do
- It only collects footage inside that one LmBox bin, not draft bins, offline items or items whose files cannot be found
- It creates sub-folders in the destination by the original categories
- A source file repeated in the same batch is copied only once; files already in the destination with the same size are skipped, which suits topping up in several passes
- When done, it leaves a note for this run in the destination so you can check what was copied
If the current project has no LmBox bin yet, or the bin has no copyable files, the footer tells you instead of spinning.
